Your role will primarily be to build insightful analytics, monitoring and alerting systems and dashboards to support the growth of the data pipeline and enable high quality analytics of our datasets, to assist our data products teams detect trend changes and ensure stability across our key data points. This will be done by designing and building innovative analytical solutions, and implementing the end-to-end development, from requirements gathering, planning and writing code, to testing and deployment.

The Role:

These use a combination of off the shelf tools and custom applications for the purpose of online activity monitoring and analysis. These are used to provide our customers with insights into the online behaviour of opted-in market research participants. Internal IT systems are mostly SaaS based with a limited number of traditionally running servers and applications.

The Role:

Located in Stretford, Trafford Park and comprises of Hybrid working.

Operations Engineers will improve, maintain and support these systems, with the support of the other Operations engineers, the Operations Team Lead, the Server Capture technical lead and other colleagues.

The data capture systems are made up of a combination of open source and bespoke software running on the Linux platform. There is heavy use of automation such as Puppet and Terraform to deliver these capabilities.

Beyond the regular maintenance, operations and support tasks there will be ample opportunities to be involved in the development of automation and systems management. RealityMine has an out of hours on-call team (additional compensation is made) that you would be asked to join after a suitable settling in period.

As a Client Mobilisation Manager at RealityMine, you’ll be the primary leader for the onboarding, setup, and mobilisation of new client accounts, setting them up for success and delivering against our ViA pillars. Working closely with Business Development and our internal technical teams, you will provide essential support in shaping client deliverables, coordinating project requirements, and ensuring smooth transitions. This is an impactful role with a high degree of client visibility, as you’ll act as the central point of contact for pilots, onboarding, and migrations, bringing together cross-functional teams to deliver a world-class client experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the successful onboarding and mobilisation of new RealityMine clients and partnerships, from initial planning to seamless handover to Account Managers.
Collaborate with Business Development to provide technical sales support, ensuring each client’s unique requirements are fully met and set up for long-term success.
Lead the setup and conﬁguration of client technology, data supply, and data access, ensuring all technical elements align with client needs and RealityMine standards.
Act as the main coordinator across internal RealityMine teams, including Product, Technology, and Delivery, ensuring smooth onboarding and migration processes.
Oversee and address project RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) issues, escalating to senior management when necessary.
Foster ﬁrst-class client communication and relationship-building, ensuring clients are engaged and informed throughout their onboarding journey.
Contribute insights to our Product Roadmap based on client feedback, aligning RealityMine’s offerings with market demands.
Drive continuous improvement within the Client Mobilisation process, contributing to the development of our ViA strategy.
Adhering to company policies and procedures with respect to security, quality, and health and safety.

Required Skills and Experience

Essential Requirements:

Proven track record of delivering complex projects involving multiple partners on time and within budget.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a desire to build solid relationships with both clients and internal stakeholders.
Ability to inﬂuence and negotiate at a senior level, both with clients and internally, ensuring a project’s success.
Excellent organisational and time management abilities, comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Client-facing experience, ideally up to senior management or board level.

Preferred Requirements:

Experience working with international clients and third-party partners.
Background in the market research of media industry, with knowledge of data insights and analytics.

Your role will primarily be to perform DevOps, backend and cloud development on the data infrastructure to develop innovative solutions to effectively scale and maintain the data platform. You will be working on complex data problems in a challenging and fun environment, using some of the latest Big Data open-source technologies like Apache Spark, as well as Amazon Web Service technologies including Elastic MapReduce, Athena and Lambda to develop scalable data solutions.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Adhering to Company Policies and Procedures with respect to Security, Quality and Health & Safety.
Writing application code and tests that conform to standards.
Developing infrastructure automation and scheduling scripts for reliable data processing.
Continually evaluating and contribute towards using cutting-edge tools and technologies to improve the design, architecture and performance of the data platform.
Supporting the production systems running the deployed data software.
Regularly reviewing colleagues’ work and providing helpful feedback.
Working with stakeholders to fully understand requirements.
Be the subject matter expert for the data platform and supporting processes and be able to present to others to knowledge share.

Required Skills and Experience

Essential:

The ability to problem-solve.
Knowledge of AWS or equivalent cloud technologies.
Knowledge of Serverless technologies, frameworks and best practices.
Experience using AWS CloudFormation or Terraform for infrastructure automation.
Knowledge of Scala or OO language such as Java or C#.
SQL or Python development experience.
High-quality coding and testing practices.
Willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
Knowledge of agile software development practices including continuous integration, automated testing and working with software engineering requirements and specifications.
Good interpersonal skills, positive attitude, willing to help other members of the team.
Experience debugging and dealing with failures on business-critical systems.

Preferable:

Exposure to Apache Spark, Apache Trino, or another big data processing system.
Knowledge of streaming data principles and best practices.
Understanding of database technologies and standards.
Experience working on large and complex datasets.
Exposure to Data Engineering practices used in Machine Learning training and inference.
Experience using Git, Jenkins and other CI/CD tools.
